LAT59: Filmmaker Forum
Three filmmakers.
Three new films.
Three days of storytelling and conversation.
Join The Porcupine for our inaugural LAT59: Filmmaker Forum, a celebration of Alaskan filmmakers.
Each day begins with a curated selection of short films from this year’s three featured filmmakers, followed by an opening reception with food and libations—proceeds benefiting three local non-profits.
Each evening, one filmmaker will premiere a new film, followed by a Q&A, a moderated discussion of their work, and a closing reception.
On our final evening, we are proud to present Pamyua—an Inuit-soul musical group that masterfully blends traditional Yup’ik culture with global musical influences.
Advance tickets sales will open August 15th.
