Run Time: 120 min.
The Kachemak Bay Conservation Society is putting on a celebration of the earth and a tribute to our late board president, Roberta Highland. We hope you will join us!
Roberta Highland believed we can all be a force for the change we want to see in the world. Her indomitable spirit was nourished by the belief that everything is connected and that protecting the earth and the life it sustains is the worthiest of causes.
We’ll honor Roberta’s contributions to conservation and protecting places like the Anchor River- Fritz Creek Critical Habitat Area and our ski trails.
We will be joined by Libby Roderick, who is an internationally acclaimed singer/songwriter, poet, activist, teacher and lifelong Alaskan. The surprising power and depth of her music and the humor and spontaneity of her performances have attracted large and enthusiastic audiences across the continent and fans all over the world.
See you at the Porcupine theater on April 22!
This is a free event but seating is limited, please reserve your tickets in advance!
All beer and wine sales from this event will go directly to The Kachemak Bay Conservation Society. Those under 21 years of age who wish to attend may do so with a parent or legal guardian.
