HUMP! is a live, curated short film festival celebrating sex, love, kink, humor, vulnerability, and human creativity told by real people and experienced together, in theaters, as it was meant to be.

Our evening will be hosted by Homer’s own Irene Saxton. Irene is a sex therapist, licensed in Alaska, Oregon, New Mexico and Colorado. She has a deep passion for LGBTQIA+ equity and equality, fat and sex positive viewpoints and works from a feminist/queer/anti-oppressive theoretical lens. They are queer, poly, genderfluid and are currently in a Doctoral program studying sexuality and gender identity development. In her spare time, she volunteers on two local boards of directors, gardens, and devours post-apocalyptic and vampire novels. Fun Fact- she has been to HUMP 6 times!

Founded by Dan Savage, HUMP! has spent over two decades proving that intimacy is culture and that audiences are hungry for work that is bold, funny, handmade, and deeply human.
