Parlor is a songwriter showcase with an improv twist! This musical game show features Alaskan songwriters paired with nationally touring artists to trade tunes, stories, and songwriting homework in the first half. After the intermission, tradition is cast aside as the musicians dive into collaborations, jocular inventions, and premeditated musings all based on written submissions from the audience.

Quinn Christopherson
Quinn’s songwriting blends folk structure with pop clarity and hip-hop cadence, pairing direct, conversational lyrics with melodies that feel deceptively simple and emotionally loaded. Their work often sits in the tension between vulnerability and wit, using understatement, humor, and precise phrasing to land songs that feel intimate, contemporary, and quietly subversive.

Samantha Crain
Samantha Crain writes cinematic, emotionally expansive songs rooted in folk and indie rock, marked by poetic lyricism and a strong melodic sense. Her music moves fluidly between hushed introspection and cathartic release, with arrangements that support narrative depth and a vocal delivery that carries both restraint and urgency.

Dylan Smith
Dylan Smith is a fixture of the Homer music community whose range spans from experimental solo work under the name SharpShins — where psych-garage, post-punk, power-pop and original songs coexist with his distinct voice and guitar approach — to collaborative band work with The Wet Spots, an eclectic local trio blending brooding dance-leaning rock textures.
Offstage he brings his deep experience as a sound engineer in radio, live events, and studio settings to every project he touches.

All beer and wine sales from this event will go directly to Bunnell Street Art Center.  Those under 21 years of age who wish to attend may do so with a parent or legal guardian.
